Join a CEM Committee!
Connect with peers, mentors, and other professionals to help shape local and national policy in your profession.
We’re all busy people, especially with the high activity in our profession the last few years. While many of us struggle with the demands to keep up with expanding workloads, we still need to keep our vision forward for challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for our profession.
Developing and executing CEM’s work on your behalf takes the efforts of a large mix of new and experienced consulting engineers working together in a wide range of CEM Committees.
As a manager or executive of a member CEM firm, you might not be aware that CEM continues to have a strong need for volunteers from member firms to join CEM Committees. In your executive role, you may already have a few names of staff in mind who would make excellent contributions to CEM Committees. If so, we invite you to send us the names, telephone numbers or e-mail of staff that you feel would be willing to participate on a CEM Committee on behalf of your firm.
Committee work is an ideal way to:
- grow your network
- keep informed about developments in the industry
- place your stamp on CEM efforts in consulting engineering
- ensure your firm is represented in development and roll-out of new CEM initiatives
- groom EITs in the mechanics of the consulting engineering industry
